I meet the nicest people under the worst circumstances. Unfortunately, bad things happen to good people, and when those people are at a loss for what to do next and are looking for answers, they call me. A typical client comes to me feeling varying degrees and combinations of anger, shock, sadness, and despair. Clients are often trying to make sense of what has happened and where they go from here. I try to provide answers and offer a path forward.
Helping Clients Find a Path Forward After Serious Harm
For more than 20 years I have been licensed in both Florida and Illinois and have litigated cases in both states. I have handled cases around the country, appearing by permission of the court (pro hac vice) in: Texas, New York, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Indiana, Louisiana, Mississippi, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Mexico, Missouri, Utah, and Washington.
My recognitions include: Super Lawyers Rising Star 2009, 2011-2014, National Trial Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 2011, 2012; Florida Trend Legal Elite 2009; Super Lawyers 2025, 2026; Best Lawyers 2026. For the past 15 years I have been a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum as well as the Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
I am published for my writing on products liability issues including: golf carts and low speed vehicles, child safety seats, automotive black boxes, Vioxx, and holding online retailers responsible for the distribution of defective products. I have presented at the FJA Al Cone Seminar on cross examination techniques as well as have been a guest lecturer at Barry University School of Law on general issues in products liability law as well as on crashworthiness and enhanced injury cases.
I am a past president of the Central Florida Trial Lawyers Association, having worked my way up through the leadership ranks in the organization. I was recognized by the Florida Justice Association for his leadership and service to young lawyers with the Mickey Smiley Award in 2012. The Orange County Bar Association awarded me its Bronze Medal for Outstanding Pro Bono Service for my work with the Orange County Teen Court helping non-violent offenders learn and grow from their mistakes.
My law degree was awarded with honors from the University of Florida, where I also double-majored and obtained bachelor's degrees in Public Relations and Business Administration.
